Contributions may be made at any time to the FWC Endowed Scholarship Fund which provides endowed scholarship support through the University of Michigan, or to the FWC Special Projects Fund which supports Club outreach activities. Contributions to either fund may be made in honor or in memory of someone. See below for how to donate to each fund.

FWC Endowed Scholarship Fund

Contributions to this fund provide endowed scholarship support for U-M undergraduate students from the State of Michigan. Gifts made to the University of Michigan, a public charitable organization, are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Go to U-M’s Leaders & Best Online Giving webpage for the FWC Endowed Scholarship #700549. After selecting a gift amount, you will see gift options and be able to donate online via credit card.

FWC Special Projects Fund

The Special Projects Fund, controlled by the FWC Board, benefits the Club and provides support for interest section public service outreach or other special activities. Contributions to the FWC Special Projects Fund, established in 2019, are not tax deductible.

Examples of this Fund’s use include providing quilts pieced by our Quilting section to Safe House and enabling public receptions for our Painting section’s regular exhibitions of their work. The Fund can be used to benefit FWC directly for un-budgeted expenditures like technology upgrades or support for a special event.

To contribute, click on Special Projects Donation to donate online via credit card. Use this online form, Tribute e-Form, to let FWC know if your gift is in honor/memory of someone.

If you prefer to donate by check, send a check made out to “FWC” with Special Projects Fund in the check’s memo line to the address below. Simply include a note with your check if your contribution is in honor/memory of someone.
