Couples Bridge
We are an intermediate-level, social bridge group of non-smoking couples. We usually have 4-5 tables. Each member hosts the club once a year. We meet on the 1st Friday of the month at 7:30 p.m. from September to June. Substitutes are welcome.
Update: We have been on hiatus since March, 2020 and are going to have our first group meeting in April, 2022. Assuming no more surges, we will meet monthly September through June from now on.
Leader: Barbara Snow

Friday Aces
We meet at 12:30 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month in members’ homes for an enjoyable afternoon. We generally have two to three tables for bridge. We welcome substitutes to our group.
Update: On hiatus
Leaders: Irene Loo and Dottie Riemeschneider

Garden
Members’ varied interests and backgrounds are reflected in our programs. If your choice is working the soil to grow beautiful flowers, edible plants, or containers and windowsill gardens, there is much to learn and share. Many speakers are experts in their fields and members occasionally present programs. We sometimes have a potluck and planning session at the first or last meeting of the year and in December we create small evergreen tabletop arrangements for the enjoyment of various groups and organizations in the area. Meetings are held 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on the 2nd Monday of the month, September to May, in members’ homes and on field trips to local farms and gardens.
Update: We plan to hold as many in-person meetings as possible, both indoors and outdoors, using Zoom meetings in the case of inclement weather or a change in the status of Covid-19.
Leaders: Sally Esckilsen-Bush and Kari Michalowski

Garden Amateurs II
Beginning and experienced gardeners learn about various aspects of gardening and related topics from programs given by members and from occasional guest speakers. We meet on the third Thursday of each month at 1:00 pm.  We normally meet at the Ann Arbor City Club and have lunch together before our meeting.
Update: We are meeting via Zoom until further notice.
Leaders: Margaret McClamroch and Judy Wilhelme

Hiking
We meet on Tuesdays promptly at 9:30 a.m. (8:30 a.m. mid-June through August) rain, shine or snow. When there are thunderstorms, please stay safely at home. Hikes are usually three to four miles or about one to two hours; more distant hikes can take three to four hours including driving time. We never walk more than five miles, and walking speeds vary within the group. There is sure to be someone else who walks at your pace. For out of town hikes we meet to carpool. Trails can be wet! Insect repellent may be needed! When Ann Arbor Public Schools are closed due to weather, there will be no hike.
Update: We will not have any far-away hikes that require carpooling.
Leaders: Clevie Daniels and Ruth Graves

Yoga
Our Yoga instructor, Jasmijn Quon, provides beginner-level instruction for the group. This is an excellent way to increase your flexibility and balance while getting a good workout.  We generally meet year-round, Wednesdays, 9:30-10:30, and Fridays, 10:30-11:30 a.m. The fee is $10/session attended.
Update: We will be on hiatus in July and August and on Zoom through at least the end of September of 2022. We might need to adjust our meeting days and times when we return to in-person sessions.
