Afternoon Readers
We read a variety of fiction and non-fiction, which includes at least one classic every year. Lively discussions are guaranteed. We welcome all new members. The group meets on the 3rd Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., September to May (no meetings in December and January).

Books and Authors
We read a variety of books, fiction and nonfiction with a lively discussion as a group. Selections include mostly contemporary fiction with occasional non-fiction. One or two members give the author’s biography and review the book, followed by general discussion. Every May we pick selections for the following year. We meet in members’ homes September to June on the 4th Monday at 7:30 p.m. (usually earlier in the month in June).

Books, Etc.
Our group meets at 1:30 p.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from September to June, with the exception of December. We rotate meeting in members’ homes and share coffee and a snack following our discussion. Discussion leadership is also rotated. In May, books are chosen from member recommendations for the following year and include both fiction and nonfiction. New members are welcome.

Contemporaries Meet Classics Book Discussion 
Members review and lead lively discussions of current and classic books. We meet the 1st Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in members’ homes, or via Zoom, from September to June. The season ends with a potluck dinner.
Update: Meetings in 2022-23 will be a combination of Zoom and in person. This group is not accepting new members at this time.

Evening Enrichment 
Our group selects a theme for each year.  In 2022-23 we will be reading books with the theme, “Eastern European Authors.” Meetings are held at members’ homes (more recently via Zoom). A reviewer provides background on the book and leads the discussion. In December and June we have a potluck dinner and watch a movie that is related to the theme of the year. We meet on 2nd Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. from September through June.

Monday Afternoon Book Review
This section meets in members’ homes, where a single member reviews a book not usually read by others. At the first meeting of the year, each member mentions one or more books read during the summer, from which a group book list is assembled. In recent years, our June meeting is a restaurant lunch where books are exchanged and summer reading lists offered. There is no required reading for membership. We meet on the 1st Monday at 1:00 p.m., October to June, except January.

Mystery Books 
It was a dark and stormy night when suddenly…. Come join us to find out who done it. Each month a member gives a brief review of the author and we find out who among us is the better sleuth. This group meets on the 3rd Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m.  We meet year round.

Newcomers+ Book Group
Newcomers and current members are welcome. We are a theme-based book group and our 2022-23 theme is Arts & Artists. We read both fiction and non-fiction and have group discussions where all can contribute. Follow this link for a list of this year’s titles and all books read by the group since its formation in 2016. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. (except December). We have been meeting on Zoom but will go back to meeting in members’ homes when safe to do so.
